2003 Spain World Fly Fishing Championships In July 2003 the town of Jaca, Spain hosted the World Fly Fishing Championship Event. This city is situated in the heart of the Pyrenees Mountain range in western Spain. It is the event of the season and will take place in these charming settings where more than 23 nations are already represented in the competition. The Pyrenees Mountains are situated between the regions of Lorraine and Alsace. The touring road of the famous Alsace wines, is starting near the competition, right outside the picturesque market town of Thann.
