Ken Holder - Team Manager Ken Holder has been a member of Fly Fishing Team USA since 1997 where he first joined the team as a volunteer at the 1997 World Fly Fishing Championships and Conservation Symposium held in September 1997 at Jackson Hole Wyoming. He has participated in the Poland and Australia Championship events. He has also fly fished in Cuba, Costa Rica, Bulgaria and throughout the United States.
Ken makes his USA home in Jackson Hole, Wyoming and works in management at United Airlines as the European and Middle East Manager of Aircraft Maintenance Operations, making his home in London as an ex-patriot. His passport is overfilled with visa and entry stamps from more than forty different countries in the world.
He enjoys traveling to fly fishing destinations worldwide to photograph, fly fish and enjoy the natural beauty found typically in remote rivers and streams. As a child he enjoyed fishing the inland saltwater bays and reservoirs of the east coast, spending many summers discovering with his brother and father the enjoyment that the sport could bring.
He is a member of the Jackson Hole Chapter of Trout Unlimited and enjoys donating his time and talents to the organization when time allows. In the fall and winter seasons Ken enjoys going to the various fly fishing trade shows found throughout the country and it is here he enjoys promoting the team and learning what is new in the fly fishing industry.
Ken has shared his love and knowledge of fly fishing with his many friends and acquaintances and has great joy when he can "convert" someone to fly fishing.
Ken is Manager of Fly Fishing Team USA and performs numerous duties for the team when communicating with sponsors, the press, international organizers or creating team promotions like this web site.
In his spare time Ken Holder also owns an aircraft consulting and appraisal company, Skyboss Aviation Services and also designed the Jack Dennis Sports , Fly Fishing Team USA, Jackson Hole One Fly, Jeff Currier Global Fly Fishing, Brooks Montgomery Sales and Marketing and Snake River Books web sites.
