The Zephyr Carbon Fiber Series

The Zephyr Carbon Fiber Series of landing nets are 100% carbon fiber, molded nets. Extremely light in weight, (they float like corks), but tough enough to withstand all the elements that you put up with when fishing, whether you are wading, float tubing, or in a boat. Designed and tested on the blue ribbon waters of the US and the World, Zephyrs are the landing nets you and Fly Fishing Team USA can count on time and time again.

The Wooden Series

Each net in the Wooden Series is handcrafted, one at a time, in their shop above the Snake River in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Woods used in each net are chosen for strength, beauty, balance and function. Hardwoods used are Bird's Eye Maple, Tiger Maple, Purpleheart, Walnut, Hickory, and Mahogany. The laminations are secured with an epoxy formulated for the use in the construction of wooden boats. Each net is finished with multiple coats of a blend of oils that penetrates into the wood fibers. The final two coats of oil are a Tung Oil based finish (Water Lox Marine) especially formulated with UV inhibitors for marine applications. The NSB2, NoSnagBag, a flat bottom, fish and angler friendly net bag is standard in all of the frames.

S2 Fly Boxes are machined from hand-selected solid hardwoods. These boxes keep flies organized. Closed cell ripple foam lines one side and the other side uses 1/8" flat closed cell foam. Hinges are solid brass and a neodymium magnetic closure keeps the lids shut. A Tung Oil based marine finish is used to protect these boxes. Currently the boxes are machined from Bird's Eye Maple, Mahogany, Lacewood, Purpleheart, and Walnut. There are two models, The Closet and the Vest. The Closet is for storage or those who fish from boats. The Closet will easily hold 15 or 20 dozen flies. The Vest is a smaller box, designed to be carried on your person. Easily fits in most vest's pockets.
